Richard Gunning's parents, Rosemary and Robert "Paddy" Gunning, have been for many years actively involved in a ministry of healing and counselling, bringing the healing and comforting power of Jesus Christ to many people. In addition they have also run many training courses for Christians hungry to see more of the power of the Holy Spirit at work in their lives. Hundreds of people have been trained in ministering to the sick and in the operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Rosemary and Paddy Gunning's ministry is non-denominational in outlook and has been a blessing to many churches.
